A new partnership with Qualcomm marks a monumental achievement for Benchmark’s Maintenance Team. The large-scale portfolio encompasses 26 sites around San Diego that includes high-tech facilities with fitness centers, athletic fields, swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts, a Tesla charging station, water features, employee dining areas, walking trails, vegetable gardens, and even robot surveillance. Ranked as one of the 50 Best Places to Work by Glassdoor, Qualcomm is a top employer in San Diego and provides unique challenges and collaboration opportunities for Benchmark.

The ongoing maintenance project, underway since April 2016, requires consistent, thorough inspections and audits of all 26 campuses with combined efforts from Benchmark’s entire Maintenance Team in Poway, led by Regional Manager Rob Nutter, Account Manager Roberto Juarez, Production Manager Oscar Guerrero, and Foreman Oscar Rojas. In addition to general landscape maintenance, our team is responsible for maintaining some of the properties’ athletic facilities, raking volleyball courts, street sweeping parking lots and parking garages, pressure washing all entry ways, pavilions, and sidewalks, cleaning water features, and maintaining walking trails.
