Benchmark is proud to announce that one of our team members, Jose Gutierrez, recently acquired his Landscape Industry Certified status in irrigation through the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) testing program, held at Cuyamaca College.

Jose has been with Benchmark for over 3 years as a Production Manager in our Spring Valley location. His dedication to learn and set industry standards is a great asset to the company and to our clients, and his recent certification will add even more value to the level of service Benchmark provides.

Landscape Industry Certified Technicians stand out within the landscape industry by saving clients and employers time and money.  The certification program identifies qualified landscape professionals and promotes proficiency in the landscape workforce.    It’s part of the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), (formerly PLANET), Industry Certified brand name, which is recognized and supported internationally.  Certification recipients are validated in their landscape skills, commitment to safety, and professionalism, and give their company of employment a competitive advantage.
