We’re proud to announce the recent acknowledgment Benchmark received from the CLCA at their annual Beautification Awards Ceremony, for a recent project at Bio Legend San Diego, in the category of Commercial Construction – Large.

Bio Legend develops world-class, cutting-edge antibodies and reagents for biomedical research, in a state-of-the-art facility in San Diego, CA. The company’s mission is to accelerate research and discovery by providing the highest quality products at an outstanding value. It was an honor to partner with a local company committed to serving the research community with creative innovation and superior customer service.

The large-scale landscape installation is valued at roughly $1,000,000, including a unique Live Green Wall, pictured below, consisting of a colorful succulent palette surrounding modern architecture. The project was led by Foreman Sal Mandujano and Project Manager Mark Lawless, in collaboration with General Contractor DPR. and Landscape Architects Schmidt Design Group.
